Upholstery
I love working with both traditional and modern methods, so whether you wish to give a family heirloom a new lease of life or modernise a piece of furniture to fit your style, there is always a way of tailoring the outcome to suit your needs.
I work closely with my clients to choose the best fabric for them, sourcing materials from local Glasgow suppliers where possible. My aim is to use less foam and synthetic fibres, focusing more on sustainable, natural materials that are gentler on our planet and more durable for your furniture.
Surface repairs and polishing
Polishing and surface repairs make up a large and important component of furniture restoration, this work covers full refinishing of furniture or simply spot-repairs to white water marks, cracks in veneers etc.
Surface restoration is a really exciting part of the job as a revival of the polish brings life back to the piece.
